I really like this redesign. First, for newcomers, all of the ‘site action’ tid bits on the front page are really cool. Also, moving the second level of navigation from the top to the left hand side was a good move. It used to be pretty confusing and now it just makes sense.
Speaking from experience, people always hate new versions so if you are one of those people just give it time because this new design is super clean and slick!
